Scott D. Matthews is the Chief Legal Officer and a Board Member of SILAC Insurance Company®. Mr. Matthews has over 20 years of experience in both private practice and as in-house General Counsel. Mr. Matthews directs and supervises all legal and compliance matters for SILAC® including corporate governance, regulatory filings, market conduct, agency, marketing, sales, reinsurance, third-party relationships and litigation.
Mr. Matthews graduated summa cum laude from Indiana University School of Law – Indianapolis in 1998. He earned his undergraduate degree from Indiana University with a B.A.in Telecommunications and a minor in Business. Mr. Matthews is a member of the Association of Life Insurance Counsel.
